Faith Promise Missions

Part of our vision at Covenant is "Going". We believe that the whole world needs a Savior.

Because of that commitment to share Christ with the world, each year we make a pledge to support specific missionaries throughout the world. Below are the missionaries we are currently supporting.

BORDOGNA, JUSTIN:  Dallas, Texas

Justin’s work at the headquarters of SIL International in Dallas involves two main tasks: First, using Skype, he helps Latino missionaries improve their English before they travel to cross-cultural assignments in other parts of the world. Second, he designs materials and translates resources into Spanish for the Continuing Education Department of SIL Americas Area. Both tasks enable Latino missionaries to better participate in the global spread of the Gospel.

Larry works with Resonate Global Mission as Japan’s team leader. Tokyo is one of the world’s great mega-cities, but Japan is a spiritually dark place, with less than 1% of the people knowing Jesus. Larry works with a cluster of churches, helping them enhance their worship and evangelistic programs. Additionally, he develops plans and budgets, oversees other staff members, manages finances, and does liaison and consultative work with the Japanese church. Ruth is director of Christian Academy in Japan's health center, coordinator of the Support Team, and CAJ Middle School special ed teacher. CAJ is a school of about 460 students K-12 that offers Christian education to children of evangelical missionaries and others who seek it.
